NATIA is comprised of over 3,200 law enforcement, intelligence, and support personnel who provide electronic surveillance, technical operations, and scientific support for hundreds of federal, military, state, and local agencies across the United States and around the world.
Our Training
NATIA provides world-class technical training through NATIA 2026: Annual Training, Certification, & Technology Exhibition, regional chapter events, and specialized courses taught by experienced professionals from law enforcement, the intelligence community, and industry partners. Our conference is the cornerstone of NATIA’s mission—offering immersive, hands-on instruction in the latest technologies and investigative techniques, along with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and advance your expertise.
Our Certification
The Certified Technical Investigator (CTI) Program was created in 2005 to establish and maintain up-to-date standards in the law enforcement technical community. All members are eligible to complete the process to become a NATIA CTI and earn specialized certifications.

NATIA 2026: Annual, Training, Certification, & Technology Exhibition remains the premier event for members to earn advanced technical instruction, share field-based knowledge, and connect with peers from across the nation. In addition to the conference, members can access chapter-level training and specialized courses throughout the year.
